Today we made kites to celebrate Matariki. We are learning about how there are seven stars in the sky, the Matariki stars, that shine brightly to let us know when the Maori New Year has begun. We had lots of fun listening to Matariki stories about kites and making our own! Check out some of our beautiful kites, how we made them, and the fun we had flying them.
